Adopt a Yard!

With the snow now melted, this is the time when clean up begins.
Everyone wants a clean and safe yard for our children to play in and we take pride in our school and our community, we want our school yard to reflect this by keeping it free of garbage.

Please take a look to the right of the blog and you will find a poll with respect to the Adopt a Yard program.  If you can take a moment and let us know your thoughts, and for anyone wishing to help with this program please email our school council at cameroncouncil@hotmail.ca

Helping children become excellent readers!

Last night at our school council meeting we had the pleasure of welcoming Early Literacy Specialist Martha Kovack.

Martha had a great presentation with some fantastic ways to help keep our children as well as ourselves excited about reading together everyday!

For anyone who was unable to attend you can check out Martha's website here.
There are some great tools and resources such as, video clips, calendars, and more!

Happy Reading!

Again we want to hear from YOU!  What is your child(ren)'s favourite story?  Post it in the comments section below....
